Brief history of Reflexology
There is evidence of the feet being used in healing from as far back as 5000 years ago in ancient India. Hieroglyphics, dating from 2500 B.C. Found on the wall of a tomb suggest that the ancient Egyptians also used a form of Reflexology. The modern day approach draws much from a treatment known as "Zone Therapy", which was utilized by medical doctors in the 1900's. Later, Eunice Ingham, a physiotherapist, translated this theory to the feet, and modern Reflexology came into being.
